Getting Ready for 2nd Grade...

Today is the last day of Summer for Jaycee... We've been playing all week so we're going to stay home today. The Class Lists were supposed to be posted today at 1pm, but I got an email early this morning from Jaycee's Teacher. She got one of the new Teacher's and she got the only male teacher! I'm trying to stay optimistic about this. But, to be honest when I first read the email I didn't know what to think. I guess it's because you just don't see a lot of male Elementary teachers. I'm looking forward to meeting (analyzing his every move) tonight. I know it will be fine. I told Jaycee that she got Mr. P and she just said, "Cool." Now she is talking to her cousin and BFF about what they are going to wear on the First Day of School. Here's what she told me this morning... "JK and I have our outfits all planned out for the 1st week of school..." I said, "Okay, so what are you wearing?" She says, "On the 1st day we are going to wear our"Trend Setter" Outfits." I say, "What is your trendsetter outfit? Do you know what that means?" She says, "Not really... I need to call JK!" :) JK is 2 years older and according to Jaycee, she knows EVERYTHING! ;)
